How do we get started?
Sign up, verify your email and start in the sandbox. Add your business details and try payouts with test funds - no real money moves. When you're ready to go live, complete business verification, confirm your commercial terms and fund your Cleff Account. Prefer a walkthrough? Book a demo.
Do we need developers to start paying creators?
No. Use the dashboard to invite recipients, create payouts and track their progress. You can upload a CSV for multiple payouts. Connect the API when you need payouts inside your own systems.
Can we pay one-off collaborations and ongoing creator relationships?
Yes. Create an approved payout for a single collaboration or pay the same creator again as work continues. Your team controls the agreed amount and each payout. This does not require or imply automatic recurring schedules.
Will creators recognize our brand?
Your logo and colors lead the payout experience, with a Powered by Cleff attribution. Creators receive a familiar invitation and can enter their payout details without creating a Cleff account.
Can we pay creators in other countries?
Discuss your destinations with us as part of onboarding so we can confirm available payout methods, currencies and timing. The global payout setup must fit the countries and recipients you need to reach.
How quickly can people get paid?
Eligible US bank accounts and US debit cards can receive instant payouts once those methods are enabled for your business. Other methods follow their own timelines. International delivery depends on the destination and payout method.
Can creators see when their payout arrives?
Yes. Creators and your team can follow payout status. Your team sees it in the dashboard, and the API and webhooks can bring payout updates into your own system. Any reported failure details help your team follow up.
Who handles identity checks and tax forms?
Your business handles recipient identity checks and tax forms. Cleff verifies your business and records your confirmation that you have independently checked each recipient. Collecting payout details does not replace those checks.
How is pricing structured?
Sandbox testing is free. Live payout pricing is per payout, not per recipient, with commercial terms based on your volume. We confirm the applicable fees before you go live.
